Box Lacrosse

Why Box Lacrosse?

A Different Game. A Better Way to Develop.

Box lacrosse is fast, physical, and built around constant action. A smaller playing surface, smaller goals, and a 30-second shot clock mean players get more touches, make quicker decisions, and learn to create under pressure.

Those added reps translate directly to the field. Box develops stick skills, creativity, decision-making, toughness, and confidence while challenging players to see the game in a completely different way.

At NXT, box lacrosse is about more than simply playing indoors. From club teams to tournaments and events, our box programs are built to give players more opportunities to train, compete, and experience the indoor game.

Built for Development

A lot of box programs are built primarily around league play or game experience. We believe players need both training and competition to truly develop.

Our box programming combines expert coaching, intentional training, and high-level competition to teach the techniques and strategy that make box lacrosse such a valuable part of a player's development.

Whether you're looking to join a box team, get more reps, or compete in a box event, NXT gives players multiple ways to get involved.

Safety First

Box lacrosse is faster and more physical than field lacrosse, which is why player safety is a priority across our programs.

We take a gradual approach to introducing contact and equipment, allowing players to learn the game, build confidence, and progress toward full equipment and official box rules. Athletic trainers are present at practices, and goalie equipment is provided for our club programs.

The goal is simple: create a safe environment where players can learn, compete, and get the most out of the box game.
